How to work on SubMIT?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Given that SubMIT is a community installation and users can affect each others work we have sat down to formulate a few pointers for users, what to pay attention to etc. ‘Using SubMIT’<\/a> gives you a short summary of what we expect from users, so we can all work together efficiently and in good spirits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What happens to your account when users leave MIT?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The subMIT team established a practice to deactivate and remove old users in January of each year. By old users, we mean people who have lost access to MIT Touchstone. The data from these users is saved for 6 months, or until these users contact us. They can restore access to MIT Touchstone with an MIT sponsor and retrieve the access to subMIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can see in our ‘number of user’ curve there is a little drop at the beginning of the year 2025, when we performed the first user ‘removal operation’. The removal of users was for now rather modest. We are expecting this removal to become more substantial as the facility ages. User removal is scheduled to happen once per year usually in January after MIT has expired accounts.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
